I’m a former NFL athlete turned youth performance coach. I built DIVG LLC Fitness to help young athletes grow stronger in mind, body, and confidence. My training blends discipline, technique, and real mentorship so every kid learns how to move with purpose and believe in their greatness.

With experience playing football at the high school level and two years at the college level as an offensive lineman at Mayville State University and Virginia University of Lynchburg, I bring first hand knowledge of the game to every practice. I foster a positive learning environment while emphasizing strong fundamentals, discipline, and teamwork. I am constantly learning and developing new skills when it comes to football, striving to grow alongside my athletes. My goal is to help players become confident, well-rounded individuals both on and off the field.

My name is Vernon Joines Jr. I was a 3 sport athlete in high school (football, basketball and track & field). After high school I went the prep school route and attended Hargrave Military Academy from 2008-2009. From there I finished my career on the D2 level at Bowie State University where I earned my degree in Sports Management with a minor in Management.

I'm passionate about fostering a love for football in every athlete I coach. With 15 years of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a dedication to helping players reach their full potential. I spent the 2024 season as the wide receivers coach at Teton High School in Driggs, Idaho and have a experience at every position on the offensive side of the ball.
