With over 15 years of teaching experience and a lead instructor role at Big Canyon Country Club since 2015, Travis combines expertise with cutting-edge tools like high-speed video, Swing Catalyst, K-Motion technology, and launch monitors to analyze and enhance each athlete’s performance. His approach centers on biomechanics and the body-swing connection, focusing on rhythm, feel, and flow to help players fully enjoy the game. Mile Square Golf Club is my home course, where you’ll often find me working on my game. As a dedicated golf instructor, I specialize in offering a personalized coaching lesson in golf. As a graduate of Golf Academy of America, Carlsbad, California (sadly no longer in business), I studied the psychology of golf, complex teaching and course management. I also learned how to build a set of golf clubs as well as mastering the complex rules of golf, and the overall fundamentals of how to coach and instruct students. During my 2 years at GAA, I quickly excelled, making the competitive Club Golf Team. I came to learn that there are no two identical golf swings. It is my job to assist you to find the mechanically correct way to improve your swing and develop your short game. Whenever you’re ready to lower that scorecard, I’m ready to coach you!
