On top of being a two-time PGA Tour Event winner and long-time golf channel analyst, Ted is an exceptional coach. He began his love affair with golf at the age of five. Growing up in Pennsylvania, Ted’s parents would drop him off at the golf course in the morning and pick him up at night. He would practice all day and imagine himself playing with the greats of the game. He studied their swings and imitated them as much as possible. His innate ability to see his body moving in time and space was his talent, and it took him all the way to the PGA TOUR. I bring 19 years of experience playing and learning the game of golf, with a background as a college-level athlete and collegiate golf team player, and extensive competitive experience. During high school, my team qualified for the state championships, and during that same period I competed in high-level matches, including a head-to-head match against Sam Horsfield, giving me early exposure to elite competition and pressure situations. While I have a strong understanding of the technical side of the golf swing, my teaching approach is not overly technical. I’m a feel-based player, and just like I play the game, I teach it—focusing on feel, awareness, and simple keys that translate naturally to the course. I believe great golf comes from understanding what to feel, not being overloaded with mechanics. A major part of my instruction focuses on the mental side of the game, which I believe is often overlooked. I’ve studied golf psychology extensively, including Bob Rotella’s golf psychology work, and I help students develop confidence, commitment, and trust under pressure. I’ve worked with golfers of all skill levels, helping students improve ball-striking, consistency, confidence, and course management. Every lesson is tailored to the individual, emphasizing changes that are easy to understand, repeat, and hold up on the course. My goal is simple: help you play better golf on the course, not just hit good shots on the range. I played professionally for 5 years. Caddied on the LPGA before opening my own business. I make learning simple - fundamentals first, then learn how to move the body and the club will follow. There are only a few effective ways to swing a club, I teach a swing that is designed around a neutral spine. I want my clients to have the same, heathy swing - no back pain, hip pain, knee pain etc - from when they are 7 years old to 90yrs old without having to change a thing. I teach men and women of all ages - My youngest client is 7 and my oldest is 87. My first client was struggling to break 100, now he shoots in the 70s. I believe in doing the best I can with one person at a time. When they see success, their friends and family will want in on the experience of playing better golf. Golf has been my lifelong passion, beginning with my college years at Lindenwood University in St. Louis, where I honed my skills on the course. For three rewarding years, I served as a caddie, accompanying players like Tano Goya and Emilio Gonzalez on the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tour. Also, I’m currently working for Danielle Kang at the LPGA.
