His competitive achievements include winning the 1980 Palm Beach County Amateur Championship and the 1981 Florida State Amateur Championship, and he also competed on the PGA Tour and various mini-tours. Currently, he coordinates the Abacoa Junior Golf Clinics and coaches the Abacoa Boys and Girls PGA Junior League Teams.
