About Charlie

I bring 19 years of experience playing and learning the game of golf, with a background as a college-level athlete and collegiate golf team player, and extensive competitive experience. During high school, my team qualified for the state championships, and during that same period I competed in high-level matches, including a head-to-head match against Sam Horsfield, giving me early exposure to elite competition and pressure situations. While I have a strong understanding of the technical side of the golf swing, my teaching approach is not overly technical. I’m a feel-based player, and just like I play the game, I teach it—focusing on feel, awareness, and simple keys that translate naturally to the course. I believe great golf comes from understanding what to feel, not being overloaded with mechanics. A major part of my instruction focuses on the mental side of the game, which I believe is often overlooked. I’ve studied golf psychology extensively, including Bob Rotella’s golf psychology work, and I help students develop confidence, commitment, and trust under pressure. I’ve worked with golfers of all skill levels, helping students improve ball-striking, consistency, confidence, and course management. Every lesson is tailored to the individual, emphasizing changes that are easy to understand, repeat, and hold up on the course. My goal is simple: help you play better golf on the course, not just hit good shots on the range. If you’re serious about improving and want coaching that blends experience, feel-based instruction, and a strong mental approach, I’d love to work with you.

About Zachary

I played professionally for 5 years. Caddied on the LPGA before opening my own business. I make learning simple - fundamentals first, then learn how to move the body and the club will follow. There are only a few effective ways to swing a club, I teach a swing that is designed around a neutral spine. I want my clients to have the same, heathy swing - no back pain, hip pain, knee pain etc - from when they are 7 years old to 90yrs old without having to change a thing. I teach men and women of all ages - My youngest client is 7 and my oldest is 87. My first client was struggling to break 100, now he shoots in the 70s. I believe in doing the best I can with one person at a time. When they see success, their friends and family will want in on the experience of playing better golf. I also do: physical training, rehab, strategy and mental work for golf

What students say...

"Zach has been an incredible influence on my son over the past year, not only helping him improve his golf game, swing, and course management, but also teaching him the mental side of the game- confidence, resilience, discipline, and composure. What makes Zach truly special is that he goes far beyond coaching golf. He genuinely cares about the athletes he works with. He has become a mentor and role model my son deeply respects. At 15, those influences matter tremendously, and we are so grateful for the character, integrity, and encouragement Zach continually pours into him both on and off the course.

About Dave

TPI-Certified Golf Expert - Founder of Golf-Ed. - 20,000+ Lessons Taught About Me: I believe golf instruction should bring clarity, not confusion. Too many golfers spend years grinding away at their game without seeing real progress—not because they lack effort, but because they lack the right guidance. I’m Dave Stanley, the founder of Golf-Ed. (educateyourgame.com) and a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Expert. Over my career, I’ve taught more than 20,000 lessons to players of every skill level, from complete beginners to winning Tour professionals and college scholarship athletes.  My coaching philosophy is built entirely around the "Body-Swing Connection." As a TPI Level 2 instructor in Golf, Power, and Junior development, I don't believe in forcing you into a cookie-cutter, idealized swing model. Instead, I integrate biomechanics, fitness, and swing mechanics to build a swing that actually fits your unique physical capabilities.  When we work together, I use extensive video analysis so you can see exactly what your swing is doing and understand the why behind every change we make. My goal is to cut through the noise and give you simple, actionable feels that you can trust under pressure. Body-based coaching allows for quicker improvement, fewer injuries, and a lot more enjoyment on the course.  Whether you want to fix a stubborn slice, maximize your clubhead speed, or finally break that scoring plateau, I’m here to help you Educate Your Game. Let's get to work!

What students say...

"Dave has the uncanny ability to see immediately where your swing fault is and give you drills to do at home to get you back in the groove! I never left a session where I wasn't hitting it much better! I wish I could have him watch me hit balls every day. I've taken many lessons over the years and Dave by far is the best instructor I've ever had.

Why take golf lessons in Orlando?

Orlando's climate supports outdoor golf nearly year-round, with mild winters that draw students from cooler regions and a thriving instructional ecosystem built around tourism, junior development, and full-time residents. The 4 active golf coaches (also called golf instructors) include a former pro who played professionally for 5 years, a 25-year veteran of Bad Dog Driving Range in East Orlando, a coach with two decades of tournament play and a decade of professional teaching, and a South-Florida-trained instructor with a deep playing background that started at age nine. Orlando's venue mix is unusually flexible - outdoor courses like Highlands Reserve, dedicated practice ranges like Bad Dog, performance facilities like ML Performance, and indoor simulator venues like The Greens give students multiple paths depending on weather and goals.

How often to take golf lessons

LevelFrequencyDurationNotes
BeginnerWeekly60 minLock in fundamentals - grip, stance, posture, alignment - before you start grooving bad habits. Year-round outdoor weather in Orlando makes a 60-min weekly cadence sustainable.
IntermediateEvery 1-2 weeks60-90 minMix range work with on-course playing lessons at ChampionsGate or Falcons Fire. Focus on course management and shot-shaping; longer sessions let you practice with the coach watching.
