I come from a long line of golfers with ancestors who were pros in Scotland. I honed my skills in West Chester, PA, and later in South Florida, earning a single-digit handicap. In 2012, my son and I founded Imagen Golf to make golf dreams come true. I've written a best-selling golf book, hosted the Imagen Golf Podcast, and invented the "Pure Putt Grip." I've learned from top golf minds like David Leadbetter and Butch Harmon, and my coaching philosophy is centered on individuality and a skills-based approach. As a Top 100 Coach, #1 Golf Instructor in PA and certified teaching pro, I'm passionate about growing the game. I also provide virtual lessons from my indoor studio. I am a very patient coach and I always keep it simple for my students. I try to give you the least amount of information and thoughts as possible, but the information I give you will make the biggest difference in improving your game. Too many thoughts about a motion will interfere with the effectiveness of your swing. Having grown up playing golf alongside my uncle, who worked for the Ryder Cup, I was fortunate to witness numerous professional golfers in action. This exposure fueled my passion for the game and instilled in me a deep appreciation for its intricacies. With a wealth of experience in teaching children, my approach prioritizes creating a fun and enjoyable learning environment while imparting essential golfing skills.

I always start a lesson with a new student with the understanding that not all players learn the same way. For my visual learners I employ V1 Golf Video analysis which we can also send to the student so they can review it between lessons. For my kinesthetic learners we use a variety of training aids to help them feel the differences with actual body motions. For students that are audio learners we will have more of a conversation and explanation discussion that will also include a bit of quizzing to help them remember our processes. While lowering scores and hitting your clubs farther are important, I also like to asses the student’s goals and aspirations that will help guide them to be a better player and create a more fun and enjoyable atmosphere with their game.
