I've been a PGA Professional Golf Instructor since 1977, dedicated to improving your golf game in a relaxed, friendly environment. My Lesson Philosophy is to teach basic fundamentals, believing that core basics and with a dedicated practice routine will improve any golfer.

I was an all-state high school golfer working carts at La Cantera. I then went to college, where I played golf and graduated with honors in sports management. After college, I got hired as an assistant golf pro, giving lessons and playing on the mini-tour simultaneously. I later relocated to my hometown of San Antonio to work at Golf Galaxy. After four years, I worked my way up to management and became a master club fitter, training and fitting for golf clubs. My journey in golf has equipped me with a deep understanding of the game, and I’m passionate about helping others improve their skills and enjoy this wonderful sport.

With a golf club in hand since age four, I grew up immersed in the game at the prestigious Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, home to the 2004 Ryder Cup and 2008 PGA Championship. Living steps from the course, I honed my skills daily, achieving a 12 handicap at 15 on the challenging South Course. As a freshman, I earned a spot on my high school varsity golf team and later served as captain, benefiting from top-tier lessons with the head golf pro. My deep understanding of swing mechanics, combined with a keen eye for spotting and correcting errors, allows me to guide golfers of all levels. With over 17 years of experience in golf, I have been passionate about the game since I was 15 years old. Competing in numerous local tournaments in San Antonio has allowed me to hone my skills and deepen my love for the sport. At 32, I combine my extensive playing experience with a dedication to teaching, helping golfers of all levels improve their game and enjoy the sport. I work with a variety of tools and equipment to provide a comprehensive and modern approach to golf instruction. With over five years of experience in club building and fitting, coupled with three years spent at golf courses focusing on healthy living and swing mechanics, I've cultivated a holistic understanding of the sport. Golf has been my passion since childhood, and I've dedicated my life to sharing that love with others. I've coached high school teams, taught my own children, and helped countless individuals discover the joy of golf. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing my clients progress and achieve their goals on the course.

I first took up golf because of my uncle, who was an avid golfer. He would occasionally take my father and I to the driving range. I really did not understand the game then. But, as I got older, I started seeing golf as more than a sport. First, I enjoyed being outdoors and I got to make new friends. But, more importantly, it taught me a lot about myself as well as some important things in life. Such as, it taught me about honesty, integrity, sportsmanship and of course a lot about my inner self. As a matter of fact, I fell in love with the game. So much so, that I became a golf professional and now an instructor. I love to help others and what a better way then by teaching the game that I have fallen in love with to new golfers. I am the best because of my personality and my mentality. I always believe that you can accomplish anything. As a golf instructor, I am going to help a new golfer by applying the knowledge and skills that have made me the best. I will show them everything that this beautiful sport has to offer. But more importantly, I will stay engaged with my students. Whether it’s through clinics, playing a round of golf with them or just practicing with them. I will do all I can to insure that they fall in love with golf. The experience from my lessons will be exciting and will be filled with fun and laughter. Of course, there will be goals expected from the student, but those goals will no way be intimidating. The main goal is to supply my students with the tools necessary for them to make golf a part of their life. Such as I did. But, golf has become more than just a part of my life. It’s become a passion.

With 25 years of golfing experience, I’ve coached players currently competing on the PGA and LIV tours and even caddied on tour.
