My name is Chris and I’m a professional guitarist & bassist, songwriter and producer with a degree in Guitar Performance, Songwriting and Music Production. I teach beginner and advanced level students of all ages how to develop skills in guitar and bass performance, songwriting, and producing. I teach Pop, Blues and Country genres amongst others but I specialize in Rock, Metal, Alternative Rock, Punk, Electronic/Industrial music. I’m a multi-instrumentalist, and have a decade of experience performing, educating, and developing musicians. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Guitar Performance and pursuing a Master’s in Music Industry at USC. I’ve taught guitar, bass, ukulele, piano, drum set, violin, viola, and cello, managed tours, and produced shows, and founded Superior Sounds Music in 2022.

Music is my passion, and sharing that passion through teaching is incredibly rewarding. With 37 years of experience as a guitarist, including my time as a recording artist, I bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to each lesson. After relocating from Sacramento where I spent the last nine years, I'm eager to reestablish myself in the yet again. I am a native Angelino, born and raised here. As an instrumental instructor, I've worked with a wide range of students from different age groups, cultural backgrounds, and learning challenges. I tailor each lesson to the individual, and love to help my students grow both musically and personally. Building confidence in my students, parents, and colleagues is something I taken pride in.

Aaron Araujo is a singer/songwriter who studied and received an Associates degree in music from Los Angeles City College. Currently at CSDH to continue his career in Music Education and Music Therapy. He is currently in a few musical projects that range from Indie Folk, Neo Soul, Indie Rock, to Grunge music, performing live around Los Angeles as well as offering private guitar lessons and continuously growing as an aspiring music education educator. With over 15 years of guitar playing experience, Aaron strives to give back to the community and create a 3rd place for everyone from all background to be able to be creative, express themselves, and pass on knowledge he has obtained over the years.
