Hello future students! I’ve been teaching the guitar to kids and adults for over 15 years, and I’m just as excited today as when I first started! My musical journey began at the age of 14 when I joined the music conservatory in Brasilia, Brazil. Later, I went to college for music education and moved to the US to study Jazz Performance at the University of Louisville. Having studied classical, jazz, Brazilian, pop, rock, country, and blues guitar over the years, I'm confident in teaching most styles. Since then, I’ve written well over 100 songs and played my way through styles ranging from rock ’n’ roll and metal to pop, punk, and blues. My journey in the musical circus began alongside John Eddie in 1981, and since then, it's been a whirlwind of creativity and collaboration. From recording with Columbia and Electra in the late '80s and early '90s to crafting songs that have earned acclaim at the CMA's and landed on albums by Brantley Gilbert, Miranda Lambert, and more, the ride has been unforgettable. Alongside these milestones, I've had the privilege of working with icons like Bryan Adams, Kid Rock, and Sammy Hagar, among others.
