Hello future students! I’ve been teaching the guitar to kids and adults for over 15 years, and I’m just as excited today as when I first started! My musical journey began at the age of 14 when I joined the music conservatory in Brasilia, Brazil. Later, I went to college for music education and moved to the US to study Jazz Performance at the University of Louisville. Having studied classical, jazz, Brazilian, pop, rock, country, and blues guitar over the years, I'm confident in teaching most styles. My journey, which kicked off in 1987, led me to sign with CBS/Sony, where I had national releases and toured with major acts before carving my path with the creation of Realize Records, an independent record label. My presence in the industry has garnered attention, featuring in prestigious publications such as Billboard, Variety, Music Connection, Movie Maker, and even gracing the screens of TV shows like Delmarva Life. My journey in the musical circus began alongside John Eddie in 1981, and since then, it's been a whirlwind of creativity and collaboration. From recording with Columbia and Electra in the late '80s and early '90s to crafting songs that have earned acclaim at the CMA's and landed on albums by Brantley Gilbert, Miranda Lambert, and more, the ride has been unforgettable. Alongside these milestones, I've had the privilege of working with icons like Bryan Adams, Kid Rock, and Sammy Hagar, among others. Currently, you can catch me jamming with 40 North, a beloved country band lighting up the tri-state area. Let's keep the music playing!

My journey with music began at the age of 6, joining a children's choir. By the age of 8, I delved into piano lessons, the violin at 9 and the trombone at 10. After a diverse exploration of instruments, I now stand proficient on the piano, electric/acoustic bass, and guitar. Post my service in the U.S. Army, I returned to school as a music/audio production major, setting the stage for a multifaceted career. Beginning my teaching odyssey at Milestones in Music, I honed my skills as an independent contractor, refining my curriculum through my affiliation with the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). As a former student member of the Grammy U Recording Academy, I've had the privilege of working with and learning from many musicians. I lead the band at Montco Bible Fellowship and serve as a recording, mixing/mastering, and live FOH engineer. Additionally, my role as a music producer spans collaborations with local and out-of-state artists. My love for learning extends to exploring new instruments and music technologies, and I am dedicated to passing on this love for music to the next generation.
