With over 15 years of experience teaching piano, songwriting, and vocal techniques, I founded the Margarita Shamrakova Music School to nurture the talents of aspiring musicians. From my upbringing in Ukraine to my vibrant life in New York City, my diverse cultural background shapes my unique approach to music education. Drawing from my success in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition and collaborations with industry giants, I offer comprehensive lessons covering everything from song creation to music theory. Whether teaching in the comfort of your home or group settings, I provide a supportive space where you can freely express yourself and discover your inner spirit. Kevin Du is a New York–based Chinese-American pianist, composer, and bandleader whose work reflects a multicultural upbringing and deep roots in both classical and jazz traditions. His music blends diverse influences with a commitment to lyricism, authenticity, and emotional depth. Kevin graduated with highest honors from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Jazz Composition and Arranging and is currently completing his Master’s at New York University, studying with leading figures in the New York jazz scene. His debut album, Somewhere, a Butterfly Sings, is set for release in May 2026. He also leads his own trio, performing original music at established venues throughout the city.

Alexander Farrage is a piano instructor and organist with years of experience teaching students from beginner to advanced levels. His teaching emphasizes strong technical foundations, music theory, sight-reading, and creativity, while tailoring lessons to each student’s goals and learning style. He has taught in private studios, music academies, and church programs throughout New Jersey and New York, and holds a Bachelor of Music from McGill University.

For over 15 years, the soulful melodies of the saxophone have been my musical voice. My journey began at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I delved into Jazz Studies, honing my skills and deepening my understanding of this captivating genre. In addition to playing, I have dedicated 5 years to private teaching, sharing my passion and knowledge with eager learners. Through the years, I've had the privilege to play and arrange music for an array of incredible artists including Becca Stevens, Alexa Tarentino, Camille Thurman, The Four Tops, and Reliably Bad. My saxophone has resonated in harmony with various orchestras, leaving a musical imprint wherever I go. Music isn't just a part of me; it's a journey that I continue to embrace, enriching lives with the beautiful strains of the saxophone.
