I struggled with popping balls, my backhand returns and landing my serve consistently. Learned from Bacem that I don’t need to crush my serve and I just need to land it, now I almost land 100% of my serves. ✅ I also implanting his feedback on how to grip and position my paddle for backhand returns, how to be ready with my paddles at all times, how to anticipate the ball and read the play. I was also advised to focus on watching the opponent how they serve so I know what to expect and how to return it without hitting out or short. Bacem is still my coach and planning to continue to improve my game.

Lucy is a PPR certified Pickleball pro who has been teaching Pickleball for the past 7 years. She had previously taught tennis for over 25 years. Outside of Pickleball, Lucy is a retired nurse practitioner and a well-known member of the Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota Pickleball community. She is also a sponsored athlete from Team Head Pickleball and the Regional Marketing Coordinator for the state of Florida and Georgia. Lucy is also bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish.

In 2019 Harris was introduced to Pickleball by a longtime friend Bill, who grew up in Seattle WA and started playing in 1974 with his neighbors who were friends with the founders of pickleball.
