A recent graduate of the University of Missouri Parks, Recreation, Sport and Tourism Master's Program, I did my Research Project on pickleball court management for Columbia Parks and Recreation Department, presenting my research for the Missouri Parks and Recreation Association (MPRA) Conference. I've competed in at least nine pickleball tournaments, including the largest pickleball tournament in the state of Missouri of it's time (The SEMO Chemo Smash). I love pickleball and I love coaching.

Before pickleball, I played soccer, which taught me the importance of footwork, court awareness, teamwork, and strategy—skills that have translated directly to pickleball. Feel free to bring your own paddle and balls if you’d like or you are welcome to use mine. Preferred balls would be Franklin x-40, Vulcan, or Selkirk S1. Tennis court shoes are ideal because regular tennis shoes or running shoes are likely to get holes or be worn quickly and easily (definitely not mandatory though). Comfortable athletic wear. Sunglasses or hat/visor if sunny. Sunscreen.
