Level 2 Certified Pickleball Instructor | DUPR Coach Charles Famulare is a PCI Level 2 Certified Pickleball Instructor and DUPR Coach dedicated to helping players elevate their game in today’s evolving pickleball landscape. He has trained over 100 players through private lessons and clinics, working with youth and adult athletes from beginner to advanced levels. Charles emphasizes strong fundamentals, efficient footwork, smart positioning, and intentional shot selection, helping players adapt their style through improved dinks, drives, drops, body and paddle positioning, court awareness, and strategic decision-making. Specializing in beginner and intermediate development while also supporting advanced players, Charles uses a clear, engaging, and proven coaching approach to build consistency, confidence, and match-ready skills. He is a Paddle Fit Expert who has helped more than 60 players find the right paddle for their style of play, and an experienced Titan Pickleball Machine trainer, using structured machine sessions to improve reaction time, shot quality, and performance under pressure. With over 15 years of youth sports coaching experience, Charles delivers purposeful, results-driven training that helps players improve quickly and enjoy the game at a higher level. Just a fellow pickleball addict that fell in love with the fastest growing sport! With my ping pong background I've grasped the sport and picked it up quickly bringing me to a 4.0 level in less than a year. Playing in cross club 4.0 league to continue learning and improving my skills has propelled me to my next chapter of joining a 4.5 division team this coming season just shy of 2 years into this sport. I'm a student of the game but have been helping many people along the way and the world would just be better with more people playing this game! "I’ve been taking lessons with Justin for about a year now, and I can’t recommend him enough. I came into pickleball with absolutely no sports background, and thanks to his coaching, I’ve worked my way up to playing at a 4.0 level. One of the things I appreciate most is how good Justin is at spotting the little technical details that make a huge difference. For example, something like hitting the ball as it’s coming down from the apex or making a small adjustment to my footwork or paddle position, he’s able to catch things I would never notice on my own. Michele's journey into pickleball began in 2017, driven by her preparation for the US Transplant Games the following year. Instantly enamored with the sport, she delved deep, earning both PPR Coach and IFP Instructor certifications in 2019 followed by RPO certification in 2025. As a dedicated Youth Pickleball Provider (YPP) with USA Pickleball, Michele's joy lies in coaching enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels, fostering a love for pickleball within her community.

"My family wanted to learn how to play. My two girls 12 &14 were hitting the ball around in our driveway but didn’t know all of the rules of the game. I set up a group lesson with Michele and she taught my 2 girls and my husband while I watched. We learned how to hold the paddle, proper swing mechanics and the rules while doing fun drills and games. Michele gave clear instructions and demonstrations that made it easy and enjoyable.

I am a certified pickleball coach and instructor. I received my certification through Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR). I also coach and instruct approximately 33 people which includes kids through adults and varies in skill levels. Every 2nd 4th Saturday of the month, as well as meet at various local parks weekly.

Fueled by a strong love of the game, I bring my college athletic experience and two years of playing to every lesson. I strive to make learning pickleball engaging, fostering both skill development and a genuine enjoyment for the sport. Let's improve your game! At 19 years old i’ve played tournaments and won local leagues at a 4.0 level and am currently working hard to improve past that myself.
