Some of his career highlights include a gold medal at the 2022 Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships and a bronze medal at the 2023 US Open Pickleball Championships. I remember first hearing about the game from a family friend a few years back. I then saw some matches and thought this is an easy game made for senior citizens. I learned real fast how foolish I was. I went to a local park to try it out for the first time and took to it quickly. Gaining false confidence from this I was asked by some regulars to join them. Thinking to myself that it would not be hard to defeat some senior citizens and move on to some more competitive play with people closer in age and abilities. Let me tell you when I say these regulars showed me no mercy. They were hitting shots by me and blocking my hard drives right back. I was flabbergasted. I could not believe that I could barely muster a point against them. It didn’t matter who I played. Men, Women, Young, & Old, all had a turn in taking advantage of me. With my pride bruised & battered and thoroughly humbled by my beating, I vowed from that day on to NEVER be beaten by another grandma again lol 😂 . In all seriousness I fell in love with the game and have been addicted ever since. I’ve dedicated myself to getting better and showing others the joy that is Pickleball. It brings me great pleasure in helping others get better and achieving their goals. The hours spent helping friends and family and practicing is equally as enjoyable as playing it myself. The biggest treasure is teaching my eldest of 3 boys the game and playing with him. Hopefully I will be able to share the love and passion for the game with others. “Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life”, is what they say, right!

"Honestly, I appreciated how Minh focused on my weaknesses during the lesson, and I guess that’s pretty helpful. Though, I’d say more of the same would be great to really solidify those improvements. I noticed some specific techniques in my gameplay that felt sharper afterward, so I think sticking with this approach could pay off. Hello my name is Anthony and I am a PPR Certified Pickleball Coach! I got into pickleball last year and took to it fast, thanks to my tennis playing and coaching background. I have won medals locally and nationally. I recently won a Silver Medal in Men’s Singles at the Minto US Open Championships and a Bronze Medal at the APP New York City Open. I have also won a Bronze Medal in 4.0 Men’s Singles at a the Pickle Juice Spring Open. And won a Bronze Medal in 4.0 Men’s Doubles at the Monmouth County Cup. I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional (Level 2), an iTPA Certified Tennis Performance Trainer (TPT)-Tennis Fitness Certification and I am also Safe Sport Trained. I played USTA (United States Tennis Association) junior tennis where I had an 18 and Under Sectional Ranking in the Eastern Section. In addition, I am a former captain of the Colts Neck tennis team and I formerly played NCAA D3 tennis at Haverford College under Coach Sean Sloane. I have over 20 years of playing experience & 8 years teaching experience. I started playing pickleball Summer of 2023 and have quickly taken to it. I play and drill at least 3 times a week and I am really enjoying the sport. I have been able to parallel all of my tennis playing and coaching experience to pickleball and as a coach, I incorporate the proper progressions and drills as well as point play to help you with your game. I believe in positive reinforcement and keeping things educational, yet fun. I can help with your technical skills and tactics. I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game!
