In terms of my playing background, I competed in the NPL and ECNL during my youth. I was a four-year varsity player in high school, where I set the record for all-time goals scored. Following high school, I attended the College of Marin, serving as team captain and finishing as the top goal scorer in the collegiate league. After college, I played for San Rafael FC in the UPSL for two seasons. My journey continued with a tryout in Costa Rica's second division, where I was scouted to play professional soccer but my soccer career was cut short due to injury which led me to coaching full time.
