Hi! I’m Ava and I’m currently a softball player at Roanoke College! Stepping up to the plate is about more than just hitting the ball—it's about building confidence and reaching your full potential. With 14 years of experience, I'm dedicated to fostering a love for softball while empowering athletes to excel both on and off the field. I specialize in slapping and outfield, but I also have many years of experience in catching and swinging away!
Emma Hubert is a highly experienced softball player with 11 years of national and international competition under her belt. With two years of coaching in little league, Emma is now transitioning to offering private lessons. Her expertise in the sport ensures that students of all levels will benefit from her extensive knowledge and skill set. Whether a beginner or an advanced player, students can expect to enhance their techniques and strategies under Emma's guidance.
For the love of the game and the thrill of seeing athletes thrive, I've dedicated the last 2 years to coaching softball. My passion lies in fostering a positive learning environment where players can develop their skills and reach their full potential. I'm committed to helping each athlete grow both on and off the field.
Marc began his softball journey playing recreationally before transitioning to coaching in 1980, starting with Little League. He learned the fundamentals of coaching through a coaching clinic and has since coached all levels, from T-ball to 16-and-under girls' softball. Marc’s biggest strength lies in teaching defensive skills, and he prides himself on creating a fun, engaging environment for young players, though he knows when to get serious to ensure progress. Marc also participated in a coaching group that traveled to the Dominican Republic to assist with youth clinics, further expanding his impact on the sport.
