Aloha friends! I’m Mikey and I’m just a dude that has been surfing for 30 years now. I started as a teen to be cool and win over the cute girls. I never got the cute girl but I did quickly became obsessed with surfing. Surfing is my life and I’m a surfer. I love to share the stoke of surfing! It’s the most exhilarating and rewarding sport. Actually, I would call surfing a lifestyle. I hope to meet y’all and teach you how to catch a bunch of waves and to appreciate the beauty of the ocean. Is my obligation as surf instructor to teach you the basics to go safe to the water, so be prepared to spend 25-30 minutes in the sand learning, only for your first lesson. After your first lesson 1 hour lessons are ok, I’ll just check your pop up, give you a few pointers and then we hit the ocean🤙🏽… looking forward to see your smile after you catch your first wave 🌊 yewww!!

I’ve been surfing since I was 4 years old, and for the past 18 years I’ve been sharing my passion by teaching people of all ages how to surf. As a former professional surfer, I combine experience, technique, and a love for the ocean in every lesson. My specialty is teaching children, but I also coach beginners and advanced surfers through in-water instruction and personalized video analysis to help them improve their skills and confidence.

I have 35 years of surfing experience. My passion for the ocean fuels enjoyable sessions that build confidence and progression. During our session I blend technical skill, wave‑reading and safety expertise with patient, motivating teaching.

Hi, I’m Shawn Naseri, a professional surf instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience in Los Angeles. I specialize in safe, fun, and personalized surf lessons for kids and adults of all skill levels. My goal is to build confidence in the ocean while teaching proper technique and ocean safety. I look forward to helping you catch your first wave or improve your surfing skills.

I have extensive experience as a private surf coach in Southern California and in Central Florida. I am an Orange County California native who has been surfing since grade school and can teach all levels, from beginners who have never surfed before to intermediate surfers who are looking to hone their skills. I am fully certified as an advanced Lifesaver (with all the requisite knowledge) and worked as a junior lifeguard in Orange County when I was in high school and college.
