I was born and raised in Kauai, Hawaii, where surfing was my life. I caught my first wave at the age of six, and I've been chasing that feeling for the 25 years. "That lesson with Kerry was quite good, honestly. The focus on improving my technique really hit the mark, and I felt more confident on the board afterward. Though I still need to work on timing, the relaxed attitude Kerry maintains made the lesson feel natural. I particularly appreciated the guidance on paddling and positioning, which really helped me to catch waves more consistently.
