I'm a former college All-American and circuit pro with a 35-year USPTA /RSPA certification and four decades of experience as part of Wilson's AdStaff team. I've coached a diverse range of students, from beginners as young as four to seasoned pros at 87. My passion for tennis extends beyond the court; I've also navigated the world of tech startups and hold a degree from Wharton. Beyond my professional accomplishments, I'm a proud father of two sons (Go Blue!) and currently reside in beautiful Northern California. I bring a unique blend of athletic expertise, business acumen, and personal warmth to my coaching. My name is Jahan Vijeh and I welcome you to Jazara Tennis Academy. Tennis and fitness are my biggest passions. I have been playing for over a decade and still compete when I am able. I have been coaching and teaching for 8 years now. I love to incorporate elements of personal training into my sessions because I am a firm believer of not just making a great tennis player, but a great athlete in general. I have years of weight lifting and athletic experience and hold a Fitness Coach certificate from DVC. Additionally, I am a competitive Pickleball player and am starting Pickleball lessons as well.

Coach Rudy brings a unique perspective into developing student athletes of any skill level. Ex-elite professional ballet dancer and Certified PTR Teaching Pro since 2006. He competed in over 155 USTA matches. He's co-taught and worked closely with leading master pros in the region and beyond. He recognizes the physicality, rigor, demands, and dynamics required by the sport. Rudy has developed beginner players into USTA leagues & tournament players that are moving up in NTRP ratings & reaching finals this season.

I actually didn't like tennis much when I first started at 8 years old - I'd swing, look around for the ball and find it stuck in the throat of my racquet. Having the right coach and mentor a few years later changed how I saw the game, and eventually how I saw myself. Though injuries and finances ultimately cut my junior career short, I continued to work on my skills and fitness, and found coaching as a way to share my passion with others who feel the same way.
