Nick will be the new Head Pro at Oakton Swim and Racquet Club and is a USPTA Elite Professional and PTR Level 2 Professional with nearly 20 years teaching experience as a head tennis professional, director of tennis, and varsity tennis coach. Currently, he is Flint Hill’s Assistant Varsity Coach for both boys and girls. He serves on several organizational committees for the USPTA including as the State President of Ohio and the Midwest ELEVATE committee. Nick has received several awards including Lessons.com Top 10 instructor 2020 (Northern Virginia), PTR’s Member of the Year (2013), and was named the Washington Post’s High School Coach of the Year in 2010. He specializes with developing junior tennis players using a progression based format. He believes in developing relationships first. By building positive, trusting relationships, he believes that anyone can learn the game of tennis.

Fueled by two decades on the court, I offer strategic tennis instruction honed from my collegiate playing days. My focus is on cultivating technique and fostering a deep love for the game. I am excited to share my expertise with aspiring players of all levels.

As one of India’s top-ranked tennis players, I bring years of competitive experience and a deep passion for the game to my coaching. I have excelled in numerous national tournaments during my school and college years, consistently performing at the highest levels. My winning streak extends beyond the court, with successes in various corporate tournaments, demonstrating my continued dedication to the sport. As a 4.5-rated player, my coaching focuses on delivering personalized guidance tailored to each player’s strengths and areas for improvement. Whether through 1-on-1 sessions or group training, I emphasize technique, strategy, and mental focus to help players elevate their game. My playing style is unorthodox, but it works. I prioritize strength training, speed training, and explosiveness in order to be able to optimize my playing style on the court. Over the past ten years, my tennis journey has been a testament to perseverance and dedication. Starting in high school, I climbed from bottom of JV to become Varsity Captain, mastering both singles and doubles play. This passion eventually led me to Club Tennis at Penn State University, and pursue my passion of playing / teaching tennis.
