Hi, I am currently in season with my school at Bronx High School of Science. Coach and I still work out on my off days. I am currently averaging 16 pts and 9 rebounds for my school as a junior. We work on more than just the physical aspect of the game. We concentrate on the mental as well. I send coach a copy of my game if he can't make it to the games so we can review the pros and cons. I love Coach Steven he's the best.

Coach is the best! I currently play with my JV team, thanks to coach Steven. He is very detailed with his lesson plans. He will challenge you to get better. My freshman season was successful. Coach has a very detailed oriented lesson plan for the 10 weeks. I learned how to make layups with both hands and dribble with 2 basketballs. Coach Steven provided me with confidence. I can't wait to take the next course.

Beginner training plan

Your first lessonI like to access the beginners' knowledge to see where they are at in basketball.

Lesson 11+At the conclusion of the semester, the beginner will learned how to dribble with both hands, pass (chest,bounce,overhead) and make layups with their dominant hand while growing confidence in their non dominant hand.

Lesson 4-10Throughout these weeks, the beginner will learn the basic dribbling, passing, and layups.

Lesson 2-3The next 2 classes will be based on their knowledge and skill level.

Advanced training plan

Your first lessonAssess each student based on skill level.

Lesson 11+At the end of the semester, the athletes' confidence will grow. The skill level will be noticeably increased from week 1 to week 11+.

Lesson 4-10Going more into details with drills such as 3 on 2- 2 on 1, 3 man weave. How to defend(defensive slides) zone defense as well as man to man. I have many drills for the youth. In addition to all of the skills and drills, we will be conditioning.

Lesson 2-3Focusing on both hand layups and learning how to shoot. Teaching students "triple threat" and how to use their pivot foot.

Youth players

Working with kidsI adapt well to children. They gravitate to me naturally. I enjoy coaching basketball. The students who are interested and are willing to learn normally succeed in with their AAU team.

Working with teenagersI like to play 1 on 1 to see where the teens are at. I like to strengthen their strengths and develop their weaknesses. I try to keep it competitive with the teenagers. I will push them to be better than they were before they arrived at the program.
