Beginner training plan
Your first lessonAssess skill set. Focus on getting off the ball. Intro to releases. A little bit of speed training.
Lesson 11+Continuation of everything learned to learn muscle memory. Intro to advance concepts regarding how to read defenses and niche route running skills.
Lesson 4-10Continued focus on release work, speed training, and catching. Introduce route breaks, and different route stems. Introduce yards after catch drill.
Lesson 2-3Continued speed and catching training. Focus more on releases against press coverage. Into to second level releases against off coverage.
Youth players
Working with kidsKids will learn simplified versions of the same concepts. Football is simple but not easy!
