I start by getting to know your experience level, goals, and what you’d like to get out of golf. From there we’ll start with grip, stance, and swing basics to build a solid foundation. I’ll focus on simple drills that help you make consistent contact and gain confidence quickly. My goal for the first lesson is to help you feel comfortable and make consistent contact with the ball.
Once your fundamentals and swing consistency are well-established, we shift the focus toward performance, course management, and fine-tuning the details that lower scores. We’ll dive deeper into shot shaping, trajectory control, and specialty shots around the greens — like high soft pitches, bump-and-runs, and bunker play.
Once the fundamentals are consistent, we’ll build on them with course-simulation drills and shot shaping. We’ll work on distance control, club selection, and how to manage real on-course situations like uneven lies and bunkers. By lesson 10, you’ll understand your swing mechanics, develop a reliable pre-shot routine, and feel confident playing full rounds on your own.
In the next couple of lessons, we’ll move into body rotation, weight transfer, and balance throughout the swing. You’ll learn how to generate power while staying in control. We’ll also cover short game basics — chipping, pitching, and putting — to help you start seeing lower scores fast. I use drills like “gate putting” and “coin chipping” to sharpen precision and feel.
