The lesson with Austin was quite good, I think I learned a lot about positioning and shot consistency which really helped my game. Still, I’d hope for more focus on specific drills next time to build on that. If you’re looking to improve in a steady way, Austin’s approach might be worth trying.

The lesson with Austin was quite good, really. He was very patient and clearly explained the basics, which helped me get a better grip on the game. Still, I think there’s room for improvement, maybe some more advanced tips next time. But honestly, I feel like I’ll be able to make good progress with him. If you're looking to learn or brush up on pickleball fundamentals, Austin's worth considering.
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThis lesson will be more of an evaluation of your current athletic ability and the fundamentals that you have and are lacking. We will practice hitting the ball and talk about how often you hope to be playing.
Lesson 11+Repetition, game simulating drills, Ball machine practicing the form for specific shots.
Lesson 4-10Drills that focus on specific shots that you will need to utilize, as well as explanations of why they are helpful and necessary. We will also go over the strategies that come along with them.
Lesson 2-3Repetition of fundamentals, as well as explanations of why they are important. We can make games out of them to make them a bit more fun and interactive if desired.
