Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIt’s starts with your goals and experience. I want to learn what other activities you do as well as any physical limitations. After that let’s discuss the basic rules and then let’s start your journey. I’ve divided the foundational pickle ball skills into 5 buckets. Through your journey we can touch on and practice all in the first hour lesson
Lesson 11+Play! At this point, I want you to be able to walk onto any court with the confidence that you can “paddle in” and play! A this point we will begin working on more advanced shot progression and strategies
Lesson 4-10Time to grow! We will begin to identify areas that are strengths and areas that need attention. I belive pickleball is about leveraging your strengths, more than focusing on something you’re not very good at. That being said, to play recreationally, I want to get you to a baseline of consistent performance in all 5 foundational areas.
Lesson 2-3We will revisit the foundational skills and begin to drill on each one. We will discuss how you can improve in your own and next steps. By the end of the third lesson you should have a foundational skill level in all these areas
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonBaseline!! Not the baseline you hit from but we will get a baseline on your abilities and assess your strengths and areas of needs. More important, I want to learn about your goals with pickleball and these sessions as well as any physical limitations you might have.
