Hi, I’m Rian Weston-Dodds, I’ve been playing for 6 years now coaching for about 3. I have a 5.0 DUPR rating and have coached at various locations across the valley including Picklemall, Life Time, the Picklr, and many public and private courts. PPR certified. I specialize in helping intermediate players improve with strategy and technique, but can also help beginner players get a handle on the game. I look forward to working with you on the court! At the moment, the Mountainside Fitness on Frank Lloyd Wright is the easiest way to get a an indoor court during the summer, free for members and only $10 for non members. It is on a basketball court but it works fine for practice. Otherwise, The Orchard Indoor Pickleball Private Event Venue by Talking Stick resort is also a good option for a rentable, authentic indoor court. But it does cost $40 for an hour. Outdoors, public parks are usually not busy midday. But the Oasis Community Church has outdoor courts for rent and they only ask for 10% of the lesson fee. If you have your own private, court let me know.

I also played college tennis and college basketball. 5 years ago, I picked up pickleball paddle, and everything changed. I played in my first senior pro event after only playing for 6 months. I love pickleball and the pickleball community. I have now won cover 30 tournaments from 4.0 to 4.5 to 5.0. I have also achieved silver and bronze on several other tournaments.
