Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI teach you how to hold the paddle, how to stand in a ready position, and the basic rules. We practice easy shots like dinks, volleys, and simple serves. You’ll learn where the non-volley zone (NVZ) is and how a rally works so you can start playing right away
Lesson 11+We work on playing smarter. You’ll learn when to attack, when to reset the ball, and how to watch your opponents’ movements. We practice speed-ups, counterattacks, and making better choices during points. These lessons become more tailored to help you keep improving
Lesson 4-10Here we start building real skills. You’ll work on drop shots, reset shots, and stronger volleys. You’ll learn how to move from the baseline up to the non-volley zone and how to place the ball better. We also play short games so you learn simple doubles strategy and where to stand
Lesson 2-3We focus on getting your serve and return consistent. You’ll practice dinking with control and how to move safely in and out of the non-volley zone. I also teach you basic footwork and introduce the third-shot drop so you understand how points usually develop
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI start by watching how you play so I can see your strengths and weaknesses. We run through advanced warm-up drills, then work on shot accuracy, footwork, and fast reaction skills. I check your technique on drives, drops, volleys, and resets so we know what needs the most improvement
