I'm Coach Darren and I specialize in improving skills through targeted drills with a pickleball machine. My focus is on addressing weaknesses and specific shots such as more consistent and powerful backhands, hitting speedups and defending them, third shot drops, topspin rolls, resets, countering slices and dinking and flicks. By emphasizing technique and repetition, I help players improve their confidence on the shots, reduce errors and win more.

"Great first lesson. Coming to the court with tennis experience, I need help developing pickleball shots and strategy. Natalia knew exactly where to start. I'm pretty confident Natalia will get me to the level of consistency that I'm working toward.

I played tennis at an intermediate level in my younger years, winning a few trophies along the way. I picked up pickleball during the pandemic and have since competed in about seven tournaments, earning multiple bronze medals in singles and a Silver in doubles. I mostly focus on improving my game and sharing my passion for pickleball through coaching. As a certified PPR coach, I teach players of all ages, from kids as young as 5 to seniors in their seventies.
