I’ve played soccer for twenty years. I played college ball at Ottawa for five years, receiving all conference accolades. I now coach at Next Level, and do private lessons on the side. I also currently play for the WUPSL team at Next Level too.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGo over the basics. This includes working on proper passing, control, shooting, and dribbling techniques. And how we can apply it to later lessons and game scenarios.
Lesson 11+Going over techniques and lessons that can be implanted in game time scenarios. This includes cutting off angles, dribbling at angles, and breaking lines.
Lesson 4-10More game speed drills will be implemented. These drills will focus on game scenarios. This includes drills such as first touch direction, setting ourselves up to shoot, and movement off the ball.
Lesson 2-3Learning skills that can be used in game. These lessons take on more of a technical aspect. Includes dribbling drills and first touch practice.
Youth players
Working with kidsSimilar to the beginner gaming plan. Changes can be made when necessary if the client is above those lessons. A lot of focus on technical and shooting abilities. Learning these skills young will set them up for success.
Working with teenagersFocuses on technical ability. And doing drills at game speed to make them more realistic. Still working on shooting, putting more focus on placement and finishing skills.
