The lesson with Derek was quite helpful, especially in terms of understanding the importance of controlling the ball's direction. I’d like to get better at aiming during singles play, and having more control over where the ball goes would be useful. Though I still need to refine that aspect, I’m optimistic about building on what I learned and hope future lessons can focus more on directional techniques. Still, I’d suggest others give Derek a try if they want to improve specific skills like this.

I’m so thrilled to play games now. Love pickleball even more after training with Derek. He’s quite great in making the sport feel more accessible and easier to beginners or even more experienced players. I look fwd in the future do a group lesson could be beneficial to pick up game strategies. Derek has been wonderful from day 1 and I highly recommend him to any level player. Greatest lesson yet!!! Nitesh came up with the brilliant idea to invite two people to practice in a game situation. He stressed to me the importance of staying FOCUSED and keeping the score in my head at all times. I learn so much from Nitesh in each lesson. He is very positive and helpful.
