Hello, I'm John Philip, originally from The Caribbean. I hold a master's degree in accounting from college. For over 35 years, I've dedicated myself to teaching tennis professionally, earning certification as a USPTR Professional 1. My experience spans across all age groups, where I've fostered a passion for tennis and skill development in countless students.
"The lesson with John was quite helpful, especially in working on my serve and return. Though I still need to work on consistency, I appreciated how he explained some of the court positioning, which made a noticeable difference. Still, I’m hoping the next lesson can focus a bit more on footwork to improve that aspect. If you're looking for someone who’s attentive and makes effort to clarify technique, you might find John worth trying.

It's amazing how a single shot in tennis can change the entire game. I'm an experienced player with 29 years of coaching experience, passionate about helping players of all levels elevate their game. I am looking to help beginners get into tennis. Learn the basics with fun drills and coaching. iI combine my technical expertise with a supportive and engaging approach, fostering a fun learning environment where you can confidently reach your full potential.
"Would recommend! I appreciated the focus on fundamentals.

Currently a private tennis instructor in the Main Line of Philadelphia, I understand the importance of creating engaging lessons/drills that keep new and experienced players motivated. I aim to develop proper technique, coordination, and sportsmanship in a safe and supporting way. I was captain of my HS team, playing Varsity singles and doubles for Harriton and participating in State and District championships each year.
