With over 30 years of coaching experience, I specialize in providing tailored instruction through individual sessions, group classes, and clinics. Previously, I co-owned Armour Pickleball and currently teach as a professor in the College of Theology in Phoenix, AZ, while also serving as a USA Pickleball Ambassador, promoting the sport's growth and community engagement nationwide.

Started playing soccer competitive at 10 years old for Grove United FC in Illinois. Played with the club for approximately 6 years right before I went to high school in 2010. I switched clubs to play for Jean-Pierre Tokoto, who played for Cameroon at the World Cup in the 80’s, at FC Tokoto until 2014. In high school at Adlai E. Stevenson, I captained the sophomore boys soccer team to an undefeated seasons and went to play for varsity at the beginning of my junior to senior year. I played collegiate soccer at Elmhurst University for 4 years and travelled with the soccer team to France and Spain to play second tier academy teams. Through rigorous training from ID camps, travel soccer, training with semi-pros, and physical fitness, I increased my knowledge and fundamental skills to help the teams I played for reach for many finals, championships, and bragging rights over rivals. “Futbol/soccer is the beautiful game”- Pèle.

Hello. I am a current High School head coach for the last 8 years and a personal trainer for over a decade. I’ve also coached several club soccer teams. "Our two boys were looking to raise their skill level and Coach Roger helped with that by making our sessions fun and challenging. Their training time was maximized with tons of touches on the ball. They were given homework and did it all which gave them goals to work toward during the summer. Our oldest son even made a club soccer team for the first time after training with Coach Roger. Before we began training with Roger our younger son had difficulty putting the ball in the net even though he had a lot of chances.
