I'm a tennis prodigy turned coach, with a knack for breaking records and building champions. As the youngest qualifier in Oklahoma State Championship history during my freshman year of high school, I've always had a passion for pushing boundaries on the court. Transitioning to college, I seamlessly balanced coaching and playing for the club tennis team, honing my skills both as a player and mentor. Now based in LA, I've embarked on rebuilding and reimagining my coaching career, finding innovative ways to connect with players and elevate their tennis prowess to new heights.
"I had an excellent lesson with Austin, who helped me regain my tennis skills after a year-long recovery. His intuitive approach stood out as he tailored the session perfectly to my current abilities. The one-hour class was packed with effective footwork exercises and drills, keeping me engaged the entire time. By the end of the session, I could feel my connection to the court coming back, which was incredibly rewarding. I’m truly grateful for his skillful instruction today and look forward to more lessons with him!

With two decades of competitive tennis under my belt, I've spent the last 10 years imparting the essentials of the game to enthusiasts in our local community. My teaching methods have been greatly influenced by my 30-year tenure as a martial arts instructor, bringing a unique perspective to my tennis coaching. This combined experience has honed my ability to convey techniques effectively, ensuring that students not only learn the basics but also appreciate the discipline and dedication behind every stroke.
"Ed's lesson was quite good overall, especially since his advice was really helpful and to the point, which I appreciated. His helpfulness stood out, though I’d like to see some focus on improving forehand control next time. Still, I’ll probably try Ed again because his straightforward guidance feels quite practical.
