With emphasis on self-growth and mastery, I coach and instruct with a dual goal of building the athlete and the individual as a whole; including self-mastery, overcoming self-doubt, fears, negative self talk, obstacles and physical challenges. I currently privately train my young athletes on a one to one basis and in small group. My strengths include player growth and development, especially for those that are newer to the game and learning; those searching for more reps and personally tailored training when club/ team/ center activities don't afford them that opportunity. Thriving in this helps build self-confidence, becoming and growing as a competitor with all the pressure and challenges that entails. I am very much into the physical development (strength and conditioning) of my athletes as well. I have a background in personal training and continue to work independently as a trainer and PT. This combination with my career in physical education has helped me fine tune workouts and practices that develop a well-rounded, physically conditioned athlete. As a multi-sport athlete and life-long advocate of all things health and fitness related, I believe in practicing what I preach. The greatest example to my clients is to model the traits and behaviors they can admire. To this day, I brim with energy and positivity and want to continue bringing this to the coaching position.
