Hello, I’m Jackie, a native Mandarin teacher in Bethesda, MD. Since 2019 I’ve taught K-12 Chinese, focusing on writing and speaking for students. I hold Chinese teaching and Maryland early childhood certifications. I create customized digital lessons to improve students’ literacy and cultural awareness.

I have several years of teaching experience and combine technical coaching, tactical planning, and patient mentorship to develop confident, disciplined athletes. I'm a former member of the Division I American University lacrosse team and have also coached for M&D DC for four years!

I specialize in developing defensive backs through elite movement training, position-specific technique, and speed/agility development. As a former 4-year college football starter playing 3 years at the Division II level and 1 year at the Division I FBS level, then getting the opportunity to participate in Baltimore Ravens minicamp. I have over 20 years of experience teaching, coaching, and mentoring youth athletes in both academy and club soccer environments. Throughout my career with organizations such as DC United Academy, Weston FC, Capital FC, and Chicago FC, I have worked with players ranging from early childhood ages through high school and collegiate-bound athletes.

Baseball has been my compass; I coach with technical precision and warm enthusiasm. I have taught baseball for several years, focusing on fundamentals, individualized skill development, and game intelligence to help players reach their potential.
