I’ve played competitive lacrosse for 19 years, winning four conference championships at Pfeiffer University while graduating with a 3.96 GPA. I believe players improve most when they enjoy the game while being challenged to grow. My coaching focuses on building confidence through fundamentals, creativity, and game IQ. I work with all ages and skill levels, especially athletes looking to make the jump from rec to travel or JV to varsity. No matter where you are in your process, I can help.

I’m a professional vocalist with over 14 years of performance experience, including touring throughout North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina as the lead singer of a live entertainment production. I’ve also coached aspiring singers of all ages, helping them develop healthy vocal techniques, stage presence, harmony skills, breathing exercises, and, most importantly, the confidence to perform. Let’s find your voice—and the confidence to share it with the world.
"We started working with Tab at our daughter age of 8. I couldn’t get her in often so I went once or twice a month and during that time she taught her basics getting comfortable with singing, then moved in to techniques that allowed her confidence but also helped her learn how to do things like, harmonies, working the stage and she even taught her vocal exercises.

I’ve spent over a decade in golf, both as a player and a coach, and I’m passionate about helping others reach their full potential in the game. For 8 years, I competed as a touring professional, gaining firsthand experience with the physical, technical, and mental demands of high-level golf. After my playing career, I spent 2 years in professional club fitting, where I learned how the right equipment can make a huge impact on performance. That knowledge still plays a big role in how I coach today. Now, as the Assistant Golf Coach at Catawba College, I get to combine my tour-tested experience, equipment expertise, and love for teaching to help players develop complete games. My coaching philosophy is about more than just swing mechanics — I focus on building confident, disciplined athletes who can succeed on and off the course.
"I found the lesson pretty useful, especially with some effective swing thoughts and drills I can take away. Though, I think I’ll need to practice those a bit more to really see progress. Jake's approach is quite straightforward and approachable, which I appreciated. Still, I’d say it’s worth trying if you're looking for practical tips to improve your game.
