Hello, I’m an experienced mathematics educator with over 14 years of experience at the secondary level. I hold a Bachelor of Mathematics Degree and a Masters in Arts of Teaching. I have served as a high school math teacher, department chair, and instructional leader in North Carolina and internationally in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. I passionate about student achievement, curriculum development, and supporting learners through learning and meaningful instruction.

I'm an English instructor who specializes in helping learners build conference, clarity, and natural communications skills. My teaching focuses on real-world English - conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, business communication and travel-ready language - so students can express themselves comfortably in everyday situation, professional environments and international settings. My specialty is small-scale/one-on-one Elementary and Conversational Mandarin Chinese (although any level is acceptable). I find it important to work directly work directly with the strengths and weaknesses of the student--for example--certain students at lower levels of the Chinese language will require a special focus on aspects such as tones, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and should be worked with closely to improve these aspects of the language in order to build a strong foundation.
