Over the years I have dedicated tens of thousands of hours to the practice and implementation of the mechanics in the golf swing. This has granted me unique insights into the mental and technical aspects of playing well. I encourage a mindset of commitment and continuous improvement for myself and my students alike, regardless of one’s skill level.

"I’ve asked Jay regarding one review that’s gotten 1 star rating… Not to badmouth anyone here, but it’s very misleading to just hear one side of the story so I’m putting down a review so you guys can decide. What Jay told me happened was that this particular student told through the app that she never needed equipments. So then, of course Jay or any instructor will come empty handed. Then first thing she told him was “I don’t have any clubs” and that’s how their lesson started off. After one hour, she told him how willing she was to take two instead of one lesson a week so she can develop faster. So Jay planned her curriculum accordingly. But at the end, she didn’t explain her text thoroughly regarding getting lessons and he ended up preparing as if he would see her. And then the rest happened. My personal experience with jay is just like the rest of the people here. Absolutely amazing of a coach!

With over 25 years of experience in the game, golf has been a lifelong passion that has taken me from junior competitions to D1 collegiate golf and beyond. I played for Oregon State University and did not miss a tournament. Additionally, I have competed at the U.S. Girls Junior Amateurs twice (‘08, ‘09) and the U.S. Women's Amateurs twice (‘12, ‘14). My PR is 64 back in high school. After college, I competed professionally on the Cactus Tour in Arizona, where I secured a tournament win at -11. I also have experience going to Q-School and made it to Stage 2 my first year. Whether you're a beginner looking to build confidence and a strong foundation or an experienced player looking to lower your scores, I offer tailored lessons based on your goals. My journey in golf began at age five, competing in tournaments by age nine. I proudly represented Davis Senior High School's Varsity golf team for all four years. Although I didn't make the cut for the University of Oregon's D1 golf team, my passion for the sport remained undiminished. During high school, I shared my love for golf by coaching kids at the Golf and Splash summer camp in Davis. Now, I'm committed to regular practice, striving to lower my index back to scratch.
