"On my first day with Byron, from my start of a few warm up swings and not being able to hit the ball consistently and minimal control, within the first 30 minutes of guidance on grip, stance, swing, and encouragement, I was able to swing better, get the ball in the air more frequently and relatively in the right direction. Byron is patient and provides feedback throughout, along with tips and guidance to take a break in between swings if some shots aren’t great or need to try a different club then go back to the one I was having some difficulty with. My journey began as a Howard University women’s golf team graduate, where I developed a deep passion for the sport. Throughout my career, I've worked for esteemed companies such as Pebble Beach Golf Resorts, Callaway Golf, and The First Tee. Under the mentorship of top instructors in the industry, I've accumulated over 3000 hours of teaching experience. Through my non profit, Grasp Girls With Golf, I aim to inspire the next generation of female golfers and instill in them the confidence and skills to succeed both on and off the course.
