Patrick has been an instructor at Turkey Creek for five years and has recently transitioned to be an instructor for The Golf Spot as of September 2021. He provides professional instruction using video analysis, on-course instructions, and mental game awareness. In 2017, Patrick became an accredited member of the PGA of America. Besides his teaching career, Patrick has 20 years of competitive golf experience. He has played on the national junior level and college golf and is a mini-tour player. After winning and competing on many circuits, he decided to change his career to teaching as there was a flaw in golf teaching. Many students would learn the golf swing, but they still didn’t understand how to own their golf swing and play the game of golf, not just make great golf swings. As of January 2022, he has been nominated as one of the best instructors in the nation by Golf Digest under 40 years of age and strives to be the best teacher he can be daily.

Cliff has been passionately teaching golfers since participating in the PGA Apprentice program. With a fun and challenging approach, Cliff tailors his instruction to players of all levels. As Head Varsity Golf Coach at Elk Grove High School for the past 10 years, he has elevated the team to new heights of respectability. A Level 2 First Tee coach, Cliff has a special passion for junior golfers, focusing on attitude, etiquette, rules, swing concepts, and course management. A lifelong student of the game, Cliff is eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm, helping golfers achieve their goals on and off the course.

Jared Butts is a Golf Digest Best Young Teacher in America and Best Teacher in California (2026–27), known for his passion for developing players both on and off the course. As a coach at Will Robins Golf for 13+ years, Jared brings energy, passion, and a deep understanding of player development to every lesson—helping juniors and adults alike build confidence, skill, and love for the game. Brian discovered his passion for golf at age 4, inspired by his father’s career in the sport. Growing up at Rancho Murieta Country Club, Brian excelled in junior tournaments, earning a golf scholarship to Sacramento State University, where he became a standout player and team MVP. After graduating with a degree in Art Studio, Brian pursued a career in golf, eventually becoming a Head Coach for Will Robins Golf, sharing his expertise and love for the game with players of all levels.

Meet Jared Stone, an enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional at Silverado Resort since May 2022. With a diverse skill set that includes managing daily golf operations, teaching, club fitting, and running junior golf camps, Jared is dedicated to enhancing the golfing experience for players of all ages. His previous role at Hiddenbrooke Golf Club honed his customer service skills, ensuring that every golfer feels welcomed and supported. A recent graduate with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Redlands, Jared is passionate about sharing his love for golf and helping students improve their skills while enjoying the game.

Kevin is the lead instructor at Foreplay Simulators which offers Greenjoy Technology. His availabiity at Foreplay Simulators is Sun-Fri mornings and Tues & Wed evenings. Kevin is a Class A PGA Golf Professional with 23 years of experience coaching golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to tour professionals. Originally from Connecticut, Kevin has built a distinguished career in both competitive play and instruction. His passion for the game began in high school, where he won multiple tournaments. He went on to compete at the collegiate level, starting at Mitchell College, where he won the NJCAA Division 3 National Championship. He then transferred to UConn, serving as team captain in his senior year. After college, Kevin turned professional and competed on the Cleveland Golf Pro Tour in New England, further deepening his understanding of high-level competitive golf.
