As a pianist with 8 years of experience and performance experience learning at Oakland Community College, Ibring a deep understanding of technique and artistry to every lesson. I am continuing my learning at Wayne State University to obtain my BA in Music. I’ve been teaching for almost 3 years and I’ve enjoyed being able to show people how to learn a new skill. Throughout my adult life, I've immersed myself fully in the world of music as a professional musician. My journey has taken me through various roles: from performing in diverse settings, serving as a studio musician, and directing bands, to mentoring young artists in Detroit, Dallas, and Fort Worth. Additionally, I've contributed as a musical director on church campuses, spearheaded Worship Arts programs, and even founded and managed a school of music as a business owner and private instructor. Music has been not just a career, but a lifelong passion that continues to inspire and drive my endeavors.

I am a passionate teacher ready to help and guide students into accomplishing their music goals. I have a bachelors degree in music and a Masters in music with specialty in Conducting. I work part time as an organist and pianist. I teach privately piano, voice and music theory. I am capable of teaching students off any age and level. Although my background in in classical music, I can teach any style and certainly help any musician become more proficient. My method is very focus on technique and music theory to create everlasting skills.

Hi, I am Mikka Chinbaatar - yatga player, collaborative pianist, and educator passionate about connecting cultures through music. I began my journey with the yatga (a traditional Mongolian zither) at the Mongolian State Conservatory and later fell in love with the piano. After performing internationally and working with orchestras and chamber groups, I moved to the U.S. to deepen my craft. I recently completed my Master of Music in Collaborative Piano at Southern Illinois University, where I also taught and performed across genres - from classical to jazz to contemporary. When I am not at the piano, you might find me dancing, singing, making content, or laughing with friends.

For 17 years, the piano has been my passion, and I've loved sharing it with others. I cultivate a supportive and engaging learning environment for students of all levels.
