I’m a former USTA 4.0+ tennis player and current 4.5 DUPR pickleball player who has transitioned into coaching with a strong passion for helping others improve. With my tennis background, I bring a strong understanding of strategy, footwork, and shot mechanics that naturally translates into pickleball instruction. I’m fully dedicated to teaching pickleball and enjoy working with players of all levels, whether they’re just starting out or looking to sharpen their competitive game. My goal is to create a fun, supportive environment while helping players build confidence and improve their skills on the court.

"Brian demonstrates a novel way of teaching by giving me the opportunity to identify my own mistakes based on the content that I learned from him on the spot. This exercise, along with the drills, helps me better understand the concepts that we learned today. If there is one improvement I have to state, it’s that the drop shot adjustments could be introduced better. Give them awareness that the balls can come at different height/different speeds first and then show them the techniques to handle such cases.

"First time learning how to play pickleball. I found Toms profile and felt like he would be a good coach for everyone due to his background and reviews. Im glad i found Tom! I suck at learning at the age of 42 and Tom has been patient with me throughout the lesson. 1 hour was pre challenging but kept me focused he gives you good advice and checks your mistakes and compliments what youre doing good. My name is Roberto. I was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica, and I came to the United States nine years ago to play college tennis. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University (nation's top 10 NCAA Division II school) with a B.A. in Business Management and served as the team's captain on my last semester. I have also coached beginner and intermediate tennis players of all ages in Costa Rica as well as several collegiate dual matches. Regarding my playing history, I have played tournaments in over 10 countries, obtained a junior international ranking, and reached a ranking of #8 in Costa Rica.
