Hi, I'm Will! Former UCLA club pickleball player, now signed as a pro with Friday Pickleball. I spent a year teaching at the Santa Monica Pickleball Center, coaching everyone from first-timers to tournament players, so I know exactly how to meet you where you are and get you where you want to be. My style: high energy, zero boring drills. Every lesson is fast-paced, personalized, and built around applicable skills to your game!

I’m Roberto Pinargote, a competitive pickleball player from Ecuador with experience competing in PPA events at the 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 levels. I’m also the founder and coach of a sports academy specializing in pickleball, tennis, and padel. I work with players of all levels, from beginners to advanced competitors, focusing on technique, strategy, consistency, and match play. My goal is to help every student improve, compete, and enjoy the game.

Around five years back, I fell head over heels for this addictive sport after years of USTA tennis. Recognizing the nuanced finesse required in pickleball, I pursued proper training, eager to bridge the gap for players transitioning from other sports. As a senior player, I've found pickleball to offer an incredible workout with less strain on the body. That's why I became a certified coach through the Professional Pickleball Registry, dedicated to teaching the game cohesively and joyfully.
