Matt is a Certified USPTA Professional, NSCA Personal Trainer, and TRX Instructor with a wealth of expertise in both tennis and pickleball. He was the top singles and doubles player at Wittenberg University, holds a USTA 5.0 NTRP rating, and ranks among the top 50 singles pickleball players. In addition to his personal accomplishments, Matt has coached both boys and girls tennis teams at Aurora High School, showcasing his dedication to guiding young athletes in their development.

Though I have only been playing pickleball for a few years. My extensive racquet sports knowledge prepared me well for transition to pickleball. Ever since leaving competitive sports, I struggled to fill the hole that not playing sports left. Being a recent college graduate I had a hard time understanding why I was feeling empty and depressed entering this new chapter of my life. I realized that I needed to find a way to tap into my competitive nature, and Pickleball became passion. I played competitve youth tennis form the ages 4-14 and took lessons 4-5 dyas a week throughout that time. Thus, my knowledge of swing kinetics, footwork, and game strategy are very high. I am also a 5.0 DUPR rated player and play in tournaments with all the best players in the area. Recently, I was unofficially ranked top 20 in NEO. I am fun and outgoing individual, that will make learning quick and interesting for all ages.

Nico is an accomplished pickleball coach with a strong competitive background. He played #1 singles and doubles at Cleveland State University, earning world professional rankings of 1559 in singles and 1429 in doubles. Nico's exceptional talent and dedication have also earned him the titles of two-time Horizon League Player of the Year and two-time Cleveland State Athlete of the Year.

I am a certified coach through the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), as well as a Safe Sports Certified Coach. My coaching credentials extend to Pickleball Coaching International (PCI), and I proudly serve as a coach at Prime Pickleball Club, Green Parks, and Stow Parks Department. As the administrator of Northeast Ohio Pickleball Players (NEOPP) and a USA Pickleball Northeast Ohio District Ambassador, I am deeply involved in the local pickleball community, including managing a Facebook group with over 3,000 followers. My competitive accomplishments include being a Gold Medalist at the US Open National Championships in Naples, FL, and multiple gold medals in the Ohio Senior Olympics, Gamma Games, Great Lakes Regionals, and Ohio State Games. As a three-time qualifier for the National Senior Olympics and a board member of the Ohio Senior Olympics, I am dedicated to promoting the sport and helping athletes excel.
