I've been coaching soccer for 30+ years, as a player, coach, and Director of Coaches for New Haven Youth Soccer (NHYS). I was recently honored as United Soccer Coaches 2025 National Youth Coach of the Year. I've coached youth, high school, premier, and collegiate club teams. My approach is to meet players where they are to build strong technical players with a strong soccer IQ by growing their confidence with the ball from simple to more complex activities.
I have been playing soccer for about 17 years, meaning the game has always been a big part of my life. My experience as a player, including competing at the national level, has shown me how important a great coach can be in shaping confidence, skills, and a love for the game.
