I’m Julia, a 27-year-old tennis coach based in Southington, CT. Up until recently I had been coaching out of Dallas, Tx. I’ve been passionate about the game since I started playing club tennis at age six and continued competing through high school and college, where I played Division 2 tennis. My coaching approach emphasizes breaking down a player’s game to enhance fundamentals, strategy, and consistency, while also exploring the reasons behind our techniques. With experience coaching at country clubs and having learned from a variety of coaches myself, I’m excited to build relationships and share my insights with players of all ages.

Tennis, with its unique blend of strategy and athleticism, has been a lifelong passion. As a former college player with 25 years of coaching experience, I'm dedicated to fostering a love for the game in players of all ages and skill levels. My coaching philosophy centers around building a strong foundation, developing tactical awareness, and most importantly, cultivating a genuine enjoyment for this dynamic sport. I speak Spanish and currently learning English.

I'm a passionate tennis player who began my journey in 2014. Throughout the years, I played for my Division 3 college team and gained valuable coaching experience at a country club. Justin, originally from Commack, NY, earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in psychology from Hofstra University. He has 22 years of experience playing and coaching tennis and, in 2024, was named the USTA Eastern Tennis Professional of the Year. He joined the SPORTIME team in 2020, as a tennis coach, and was promoted to Director of Tennis in 2023.
