Hi, my name is CJ! I am local to the Orange County beaches. For years I’ve been in search of those perfect waves, and now, with a decade of experience, I'm thrilled to share that passion with you. My coaching blends technical expertise with a genuine love for the sport, creating a fun, safe and supportive learning environment for surfers of all levels. With a surfboard in hand since childhood, I bring 15 years of experience to my coaching. My passion lies in helping others discover the joy of riding waves, building confidence and technique from beginner to intermediate. I tailor each lesson to individual needs. I also do a lot of one-on-one sessions externally in person if that’s ever something you’re into. I’d love to be a part of your progress.

"“I am the father of 5 year old triplet boys. I’ve taken them to the beach for years but I’ve never been successful in getting them into the water. When I signed up for Brett’s camp, which is five days a week, I was a little worried that they wouldn’t be up for all five days in a row. After the first day when I picked them up I was shocked to hear how much they loved it. They are very adventurous but often can get burned out on constant activity. Surfing since I was 10 years old all over the world. Started working at the mission bay aquatic center last summer teaching 3000+ students aged 6-22 in various conditions at mission beach, San Diego. Red Cross certified.

I have 35 years of surfing experience. My passion for the ocean fuels enjoyable sessions that build confidence and progression. During our session I blend technical skill, wave‑reading and safety expertise with patient, motivating teaching.

I’ve been surfing since I was 4 years old, and for the past 18 years I’ve been sharing my passion by teaching people of all ages how to surf. As a former professional surfer, I combine experience, technique, and a love for the ocean in every lesson. My specialty is teaching children, but I also coach beginners and advanced surfers through in-water instruction and personalized video analysis to help them improve their skills and confidence.

Hi, I’m Shawn Naseri, a professional surf instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience in Los Angeles. I specialize in safe, fun, and personalized surf lessons for kids and adults of all skill levels. My goal is to build confidence in the ocean while teaching proper technique and ocean safety. I look forward to helping you catch your first wave or improve your surfing skills.

I have extensive experience as a private surf coach in Southern California and in Central Florida. I am an Orange County California native who has been surfing since grade school and can teach all levels, from beginners who have never surfed before to intermediate surfers who are looking to hone their skills. I am fully certified as an advanced Lifesaver (with all the requisite knowledge) and worked as a junior lifeguard in Orange County when I was in high school and college.
