As a former D1 athlete with 25 years of coaching, I offer comprehensive tennis instruction. I have been teaching tennis for over 20 years in Lee County at both private clubs and gated communities. I teach both private, semi private, and group lessons. My general teaching philosophy is to reduce the variables and simplify the game for beginners to get them playing tennis as soon as possible. I work with both adults and juniors. For more advanced players. I work on both technique and the mental game of tennis. I'm a big believer in doing things the correct way with proper form. PTR certified tennis instructor with 13+ years of playing experience and 5+ years of coaching experience. I began coaching as an Assistant Tennis Pro at the Cape Coral Yacht Club and currently serve as Director of Junior Tennis at The Courts Cape Coral. I specialize in junior development, camps, clinics, and private instruction. I am also a 5th-grade teacher and am currently earning my M.S. in Athletic Coaching from Florida State University.
I attended Central Michigan University playing number 1 in both singles and doubles. I began my teaching career with the Mid American Tennis Academy and after leaving there had a brief stint playing on the satellite circuit. When those dreams of greatness evaporated, I resumed my teaching career at the Bollettieri Tennis Academy and later The Colony Beach and Tennis resort. I have experience with all levels, high performance, intermediate club players as well as beginners.
As a PTR Level 1 certified Tennis Professional and an active competitive player, I am committed to helping players of all ages and skill levels reach their full potential. My coaching philosophy emphasizes fundamentals, technique, and long-term development in a positive, encouraging environment. My goal as a tennis coach is not only to help players improve their tennis, but also foster discipline, confidence and a passion for the sport. I look forward to working with you.
I am A USPTA certified tennis instructor. I have been teaching tennis over 20 yrs! I still compete as a 4.5 rated player. I teach adults and kids!
