"The lesson with Andie was pretty helpful, especially because the drills were customized based on my weaknesses mid drill, which I appreciated. Though I still need more practice to feel really confident, I think repeating this kind of tailored approach could make a difference. Still, I’d be open to trying another lesson to see how much I can improve with her guidance.
Tennis has been a lifelong love, with my journey extending to Lafayette College where I was a four-year starter in both doubles and singles. My teaching journey began in high school when I started instructing at local clubs and working as a counselor at tennis camps. "Honestly, Jared’s approach strikes a nice balance of challenge and support I find pretty helpful. He’s patient and explains things in a way that makes sense. His eye for detail is pretty impressive too. He caught small issues with my forehand right away and suggested simple drills to improve. Though I do want to work more on my backhand, I’m optimistic about how these lessons are helping me get better on court. If you're considering it, Jared’s a solid choice to give your game a bit more structure.

I started playing tennis when I was 8 years old in Brazil. I got to #12 in the country U16 and #800 in the world U18. I later played at UAB (D1 college) where I was the captain of the tennis team. I love to be able to teach someone the proper technique to maximize their potential and I care a lot about my students. I have experience in clay and hard courts and I would say my style of play is lots of spin, consistency, energy, and focus on the serve.
